The Making Process

Our Cow Dung Deepak is crafted using a blend of traditional wisdom and sustainable practices:

1. Selection of Dung: We use only fresh dung from Indigenous (Desi) Gir Cows, which is known for its high microbial value.

2. Herbal Fortification: The dung is dried and pulverized into a fine powder, then mixed with a specialized blend of Panchgavya (Ghee, Curd, Milk) and natural herbs like Jatamansi, Guggul, and Neem.

3. Molding: The mixture is pressed into traditional diya shapes using manual molds. No chemical binders or charcoal are added during this stage.

4. Natural Sun-Drying: The deepaks are slow-dried in the sun for several days. This ensures they become sturdy enough to hold oil or ghee without leaking, while remaining lightweight.

5. Quality Check: Each diya is inspected to ensure it is moisture-free, which guarantees a clean, soot-free burn.
